Frequently Asked Questions
What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?
If you need to reschedule your session due to sickness, injury or a scheduling conflict, please contact us 48 hours prior to your session. Respectfully, we also reserve the right to reschedule a session due to emergency, death in the family, inclement weather and other unforeseen events beyond our control (however this is very rare).
What method of payment can I use?
Our methods of payments are cash, check, and money order. Credit cards can be used for purchases over $500. Our clients assume all financial responsibility for fees associated with a returned check or stopped payment.
What do I need to bring to our session and what should I wear?
Bring anything and everything you would think you would like to have as part of your session. You may bring along additional clothes if you are hesitant on what to wear. You may bring your child’s favorite stuffed animal or blanket, snacks, and a drink. You will also have to bring your form of payment. We want to give each client our full attention as well as their full amount of time during their session so we recommend arriving a few minutes early to your session. We recommend you wear comfortable and casual clothing. If you are doing a family session you might want to match or coordinate colors with your other family members. There are many online guides on Pinterest and other websites that can help suggest colors that coordinate well with each other.
How long before I can see my photos?
It usually takes no more than a week before we finish editing on regular family, newborn, or senior sessions. Weddings take a little longer, usually two to three weeks at most. We will notify you as soon as the photos are complete. We do post a sneak peek within a few days of your session either on Facebook or on the website.
Do you have a studio?
We had a studio located in downtown York however with the overhead we were not making much profit and decided to close the studio for now. We intend to open a new studio in the future.
Do my parents have to be with me for my senior pictures?
Only if you are under 18 years old. All minors must be accompanied by an adult.
Do you photograph pets?
We LOVE pets! Pets are welcome during most of our shoots (pending location permission). Pets must be on a leash or in a carrier. Please let us know in advance if you plan to bring your pet so we can plan ahead.
Do you offer re-shoots?
It is our goal as professional photographers to make you happy with your photographs. There is no charge for re-shoots due to technical issues (equipment malfunction, computer malfunction, etc.). However, we cannot offer free re-shoots for any reason including dissatisfaction with clothing, facial expression, hair, wind or other items beyond our control. In the event that you would like to schedule another session due to one of the above, we will offer another session at half price and must be scheduled within 2 weeks of your original session.
Do you share images on social media?
If you have a social media account we will post a preview of your session as soon as the editing is complete. This is usually a few photos of our choice that you can tag with any of your family members or friends. Please also remember that we encourage our clients to use our images on social media as your profile pictures, cover photos, etc.
